In Stage 2, young filmmakers will dive deeper into the world of professional filmmaking—taking on crew roles, developing a script, and working as a team to create a polished 15-minute short film.

Course Duration: 20 weeks
Sessions Per Week: 1 session (2 hours per session)

Cost per Session: £20 plus VAT

STUDENTS WILL:

• Handle cinema-grade cameras, lighting, and sound gear

• Develop and write an original short film script

• Cast actors, plan locations, and manage a real shoot

• Film their movie over 12 weeks as a full production crew

• Learn advanced editing, colour grading, and sound design in Adobe Premiere Pro

• Prepare a trailer, poster, and press kit for festival submission

• The final short film will premiere on the big screen at the ODEON Cinema as part of the Manchester Film Festival in March 2026!
